We’ve been hard at work for the past few months getting multitudes of new music ready for 2012. Our first release is an official remix for buzzing artist OnCue’s single “Feel Tall”. We’ve been hard at work for a ton of artists, gearing up for the summer. For the last year, we’ve been producing for one of our favorite bands, 33Hz, and the music has arrived just in time for the sun. This remix was designed to be listened to as you  lie down next to your surfboard after a long session and dig your toes into the sand. Pure bliss. Hope you all enjoy this one as much as we do.

Once again Nicholas Patten graced us with an amazing video for our Adele remix. Neon lights and chops make this visual an amazing treat.

We have always been astonished with Adele’s vocals, and after hearing her single “Rolling In The Deep” we knew we had to play with it. What we heard was more of a freestyle throwback dance record that needed to be released. This is what we created, a cross between Starpoint, Soul 4 Real and Gaga with the epic Adele vocals. Enjoy!

We teamed up with Nicholas Patten, NYC video editor extraordinaire, for an epic re-edit of The Killers original visual treatment to their classic.

We have been fans of The Killers for years and had remixed “Human” a year ago but always wanted to try our hands at this track. Last week we were banging out this instrumental and happened to place the acapella over it. Magic. What started as a beat turned into the below remix. Hope everyone enjoys this as much as we do! 2010 was an amazing year for us and hopefully 2011 is even better. For all of our listeners, here is a treat, our first new production of 2011. We took  inspiration from a little bit of Afrojak,  a pinch of Devo, and some Haddaway and came up with a remix that is meant to be played at high volume levels, preferably in a danceable area. Dev featuring The Cataracs – Bass Down Low (The Soundmen Remix)

Over CMJ we linked with a seriously dope new artist who is really pushing musical boundaries within the hiphop world. This man is Johnny Polygon, an Oklahomie who migrates between LA and NYC. He had a pretty good sized hit with his single “Riot Song” which we remixed. With the success of that remix came the opportunity to produce a record on his EP which came out December 5th. We came up with a record that basically took the Talking Heads and The Dream and put the two together with Johnny crafting an amazing song around the throwback melody. For the past year we’ve been blessed to have work with artists from all different genre’s of music but none have captured our ears like that of Saadi. She is probably the most buzzed about artist coming out of Brooklyn and somehow we’ve been lucky enough to work directly with her and the amazing label she is on, Dither Down.
